SUSTAINABILITY

DETALLE ALBERDI.png

The global proposal is based on the principles of sustainability, to make the most of land and solar energy. The gardens, in addition to being a decorative element, allow us to grow our own food while respecting the Earth in an organic and sustainable way.

Trails that run through a series of orchards arranged in exposed concrete pots made in situ mark a kind of path that includes fruit trees plantations that, due to their size and aided by pruning, allow sunlight to pass through. its foliage, flooding the interior spaces of the units with light through its large windows.

Aged Ombúes have been preserved. Native fruit trees such as Arazá, Guayabo, Mburucuyá, and other exotic species are incorporated. Orange, lemon, plum and peach trees complement the proposal and mark the seasons of the year according to their life cycle.

Other decorative species of a more rustic nature arising from the permeable soil covered by gray gravel, dialoguing with the color palette of the rest of the materials, reaffirm the presence of green, in harmony with the predominant species in the gardens of the area.

Wooden paved platforms, arranged like islands, project the living areas towards the park, allowing its inhabitants to enjoy the outside, the aromas of the fruit trees, inviting to reflect on the use of the land and the possibility of a greater connection with nature.

The presence of green is repeated throughout the project. Terraces with different levels are treated with planters that bring a little of the ground floor garden into the interior as a natural extension of the surrounding garden.
